Skunkjuice – Velvet Voodoo Dolls, Sugar Plum Dandy, Home, The Mighty Sturgeon, Camerons Way, Drawback, Slowpoke, Lachrymator, Doom Nation at The Vertex – Review

The songs were tight and well arranged. I prefer their pit prompters, but the mid tempo songs were well-crafted and catchy.

Lachrymator is for those who used to mosh to the kill-death-Satan sounds of Death, Obituary, Possessed, and the true death metal monster mosh of the late ’80s.

Drawback played many of their faves from their quick-moving demo and a smattering of new material as well. A highlight was their “acoustic love song.”

These guys deserve to be headlining this best of the best show. Doom Nation used to be Doom Patrol, but because of the comic, they had to change their name.
