Make sure you have an empty stomach before checking this one out. Sickos Anthony West and Michael Yale make the sickest and dullest grindcore this side of the world. Harvesting the Cunt Nectar does justice to its name and fluidly mixes gore and porn-obsessed snippets before defecating some pretty basic, relentless, and generic goregrind. The music is relegated to a second plane here, and those deeply into disturbing and twisted themes, rejoice. Pretty much every song comes with its respective intro, wonderful little ditties such as the one that opens the album.

Two stoners get together, and one says, “Yo man, spark that shit.” Inhaling sounds follow, then the others asks, “So is this the first time you fucked a dead girl?”

A pissed-off girl tells her partner, “I’m not a fucking toilet, Ryan!”

Funny? Kind of. Lowbrow as fuck, that’s for sure. But that’s ok. What is NOT so ok is the music itself, which is so basic and repetitive it makes Mortician sound like Rush. The guitar sounds like one dull, chunky riff set on repeat, occasionally sped up or slowed down, depending on the song or the mood, which, of course, is the mood for necrophagia, misogyny, and pedophilia. Take into account that there are 31 tracks here, including one remix. Like we needed one.
