Dripping Goss – Gift of Demise – Review

Dripping Goss

Gift of Demise (PopSmart)
by Tim Creter

Picture a band like Phish getting heavy. That description may turn some of you off, and it would probably turn me off, too. But I like Dripping Goss. Four original, heavy and improvised, atmospheric jams. Part conformist melody and structure, part avant-garde noise, all obscure and unusual. Possibly a soundtrack for an underground modern art museum. This band, while hard to describe, is very pleasing to the musical ear. If you like heavy music and have an open mind, you might want to give ’em a try.
