Hate (Relapse)

Ignoring anything resembling diversity within or between songs, Sinister just plain play mind-numbingly fast, trudgingly slow, and thoroughly demonic songs. The singer ranges from low, throaty growling to cookie monster heavy breathing – my least favorite styles within the genre. True, Hate is brutal, heavy, and occasionally has some great riffs and time changes, but this is predominantly mediocre death metal filler.
