I definitely agree with the Faraquet comparions these guys have been getting, but This Bright Apocalypse could use some of their heroes’ vocal conviction. Sure, four out of the five members here sing, but harmonies are often flat or flatlined. Good thing the instrumental prowess slithers and snakes enough to distract you from the amateur-ish crooning going on.
