Now these guys are fun!! Their wacky antics and splendiferous attire make this band a guaranteed visual experience. You’d almost call it “performance art”, but it’s more zany than snotty. If you can imagine the humor of Loaded Weapon, Hot Shots, and Top Secret set to music you might have something like S.P.D.. Or if you took the music of the Chili Peppers or perhaps Infectious Groove and told them, “Stop trying to be successful, respectable musicians and just have fun and be the craziest live act out there,” you might be close. Their stage show had so many people jumping on the stage, singing a part, and jumping back off that you’re never quite sure who’s actually in the band. With hyper-energetic (not to be confused with hypo allergenic) tunes with titles such as “Purple Salad Foofer” and “Polyester Poopie Pants” and member names like MC P.S.F., Dr. Taco Love P.D., NaNa, and Miles El Faso, you know you’re getting the comic pages of music. It’s a wild, non-stop amusement park. A Sugar Plum Dandy show is like no other.
