The return of powermetal I can almost stomach, but the return of castrated men languishing in falsetto sends shivers of revulsion up my spine. Metal from the suburbs is sometimes good and with a few years on the circuit, working and reworking their sound, may actually get somewhere. But trying to play monster rock in your garage just makes you sound dumb. Develop your own style and sound and try again. Your friends may tell you you’re awesome, but that’s why they’re your friends.
