Post-hardcore with a heavy groove, similar to Quicksand, but not as exciting. It’s not boring, though, and the two songs here are stronger and more focused than those on Merge (EastWest). The bodybuilder on the cover is symbolic of For Love Not Lisa‘s music and lyrics, which tell an ongoing tale of the struggle for personal evolution.
