Bad Seed – Review

Bad Seed

(Rock World)

Maybe it’s the cover of the CD, (reminiscent of Cheech & Chong’s Big Bambu album) but this feels like ’70s hard rock. Yet it sounds current. Almost Soundgarden, almost early Metallica, but they never get that keyed up. You get a sludged-out-Sabbath-drone, nice vocal harmonies and a leaden low-end thud you can feel in your colon. Bad Seed deliver graceful, attitude-driven dirge-rock. Nice.
