They’ve lost two bass players (Troy to Prong and Jason to Cashallica), and have lingered somewhere between cult status and large-scale success. Solid bass plucking, crunchy guitar sound, roaring vocals and a nice piano piece at the end of one of the songs. Carlson’s vocals are a bit dated, but overall, Drift possesses a balance that few of the returning metal bands have exhibited.
