Puddle – “Questions, Answers & Questions Again” – Review

Puddle

“Questions, Answers & Questions Again” (Apostrophe)
by Rich Romaine

Skating the fine line between up-tempo powerpop and punkpop, Worcester’s Puddle splashes through three new, infectiously catchy songs. “Questions, Answers & Questions Again,” written and sung by newest Puddle member Greg Olson, an electric version of “Grow,” and a cover of Hüsker Dü’s “Pink Turns to Blue.” Their last release, …and they all begin with A, got great reviews, but I’ve never heard it. Puddle is subtle when necessary, raucous whenever possible, and melodic always.
