Yuppicide – Dead Man Walking – Review

Yuppicide

Dead Man Walking (Wreck-Age)
by Andrew Berenson

Hardcore punk intensity that is not often rivaled. Highlights on this brutal album are “Meat Packer,” “Nice Guys Finish Last,” and the cover of REM’s “The One I Love.” It seems odd that Yuppicide, a band who sing about killing and destruction of the system would cover a song about love. But anyway, the song rocks and makes you wonder what vocalist Jesse Kfw Jones thinks about in his spare time. He sings like a madman. His voice is hardcore in every sense of the word. Yuppicide rule.
