This acoustic-pop/indie/rock is as forgettable as it is predictable. “Pop Queen,” it seems, was a fluke. I really tried to like this, as all the college boys and girls will be falling all over themselves to buy Almost Speechless. “Insipid” has become an overused synonym for “sucks,” so I’ll say that Ben Arnold is TRULY insipid.
