I’m trying to be Mr. Objective Rock Critic here, but it seems every time I try to do that my thoughts drift to how much I’d like to be the subject of these babes’ songs. And how much I’d like to fulfill all the fantasies that they inspire with one or both of them. Besides the two girls in Hot Damn!, singer/bassist Zebra (ex-Butt Trumpet) and fuzz guitarist Kristina, the band also includes drummer Bob Lee (who plays in Clawhammer too), and lead guitarist/trumpeter Allen Clark (ex-Lazy Cowgirls). The music is raw & nasty punk cumming straight from the garage to your stereo. The lyrical and visual aspects reflect the musings of a female who is sexually fulfilled and in control. I like to think of this album as the Devil in Miss Jones of rock.
