The Last Libertines

Howdy folks, Tex Adams here. When ah’s punchin’ cows out on the range, there’s nuthin’ ah like better’n list’nin’ to them Last Libertine boys on one a them newfangled Walkman thingamabobs. Yessir, why last night at the campsite, we had a reg’lar hoedown, kickin’ up dust to good ol’ twang like “Love Wears a Big White Stetson” and “Big Indian.” ‘Course, mah city-slicker cousin, Chris – he goes to college, y’unnerstan’ – he says these here songs are just a buncha slicked-up country-pop cowflaps that make his achy-breaky ears bleed. Paw reckons it just goes to show that a good edumacation ain’t worth the Vaseline up a sheep’s behind. A ding-dang-do.
