An interesting and quiet side project from the ever interesting and quiet Will Oldham of Palace fame. The liner notes thank Tortoise and Stereolab, and when you hear the music on this disc, you’ll hear why. Plaintive and repetitive instrumentals reminiscent of both aforementioned acts. With only one big ol’ mistake out of seven tracks, well, the odds are in these boys’ favor.
