Listen as two members of Railroad Jerk (Marcellus Hall and Dave Varenka) take it to the backwoods for some blues/country skronk! Very nice work by these country boys at heart. The pots and pans percussion gives it a nice front porch/Appalachian feel and the George Jones, Hank Williams, Everly Brothers, and Ray Charles covers show that these Louisville gents know their roots. And, hey, how can you go wrong with a love song about a guy getting a girl out of an abusive relationship (“The Beating Of My Heart”)?
