Lacuna Coil bring Dark Adrenaline – News

Lacuna Coil bring Dark Adrenaline

The cover artwork for Lacuna Coil’s forthcoming album Dark Adrenaline has just been revealed.  Dark Adrenaline is scheduled for release in North America on January 24th, 2012 via Century Media Records.  Produced by the acclaimed Don Gilmore (Linkin Park, Bullet For My Valentine), Dark Adrenaline promises to deliver the melodic, sensual, metallic rush for which the band has come to be known.  As previously announced, Lacuna Coil will support Megadeth on their critically-acclaimed Gigantour around the release of Dark Adrenaline.  Gigantour was founded by Megadeth frontman Dave Mustaine in 2005; this run will also feature Motorhead and Volbeat.  Please see below for tour dates.
In other Lacuna Coil news, the first single from the forthcoming album, “Trip the Darkness,” has debuted at #37 at Active Rock radio.  Stations playing the track in solid rotation include: WIYY/Baltimore, WBUZ/Nashville, WJJO/Madison, WIIL/Chicago and Sirius Octane.
For more than a decade, Italy’s Lacuna Coil has been a fixture in the international metal scene, gracing the covers of countless hard rock and metal publications worldwide.  With five full-length albums, two EPs, various singles and a DVD to their credit, the band has sold upwards of 800,000 units in the United States alone and is well-established on Active Rock radio.  Melding seductive vocals with a modern, electronica-inspired metal sound, Lacuna Coil has wowed audiences as headliners the world over, and as featured guests on Ozzfest, as well as on all of the major European festivals such as Download and Graspop.  Lacuna Coil, whose moniker translates to “empty spiral’ in English, is: Cristina Scabbia (female vocals), Andrea Ferro (male vocals), Cristiano Migliore (guitar), Marco Biazzi (guitar), Marco Coti Zelati (bass) and Cristiano Mozzati (drums/percussion).
