VNV Nation adds second leg to their North American Tour

With the overwhelmingly positive reviews of their eighth album AUTOMATIC and equally stunning live reviews of their current tour, electronic rock pioneers VNV NATION have added a second leg to their North American tour that launches on February 15, 2012 in Nashville at Exit In and will circle the States, playing cities they missed this time around, including the rescheduled dates in Los Angeles and Arizona. With each set clocking in at two hours or more, this tour will be a special extended live event. German electronic dance outfit Straftanz will once again support all dates. (tour dates below)

On Automatic, the follow-up to their widely-praised Of Faith, Power and Glory, Irish/English bandmates Ronan Harris and Mark Jackson have been getting nothing but stellar reviews. PGN heralds, “they are nothing short of awesome.” NY After Dusk calls the album “A-M-A-Z-I-N-G. The only word that comes to mind after hearing Automatic… Automatic their magnum opus.” Bloody Disgusting adds, “Automatic is beautiful, violent, sublime, fierce, and never once holds back.” FEARnet sums it up best by saying, “There’s a human heart pumping through this machinery, and you can feel it in almost every track, making it one of the most accessible electronic dance albums of the year.” Since its digital release this Fall, Automatic has turned into a monster on the European music charts. It peaked at #8 on Media Control’s Overall Album Chart (the German equivalent of Billboard), has held its ground at #1 on the Alternative Album Chart for eight consecutive weeks, it was also #1 on the Alternative Digital Chart and has been #9 on the Physical Sales Chart. The first released track “Control” has also remained at #1 on the Alternative Singles/Electronic Chart for eight consecutive weeks.

With their unique and formidable ability to combine very melodic, danceable electronics with haunting and powerful lyrics, VNV Nation have built a massive fanbase, playing to hundreds of thousands of fans at both their own sold-out shows and major rock festivals worldwide. Their massive hits “Chrome”, “Beloved” and “Illusion” are club staples that still pack dancefloors.
