UUVVWWZ: new tour dates, video premiere and new album out

UUVVWWZ have announced tour dates running from February 8-23. The stretch opens with hometown shows in Lincoln and Omaha, then heads to the west coast. A full list of shows is below.

Spinner.com has premiered the brand new video for “Open Sign,” the song they call “a fine work of punk music, like an exacting Sonic Youth.”

Saddle Creek will release the second full length LP from UUVVWWZ, the trusted language, on February 5. The record features a limited edition LP package, with the first pressing of 500 including the full album on CD and a 23″x34″ fold out poster insert, and is up for pre-order now in the Saddle Creek Online Store. The eight tracks that make up the trusted language were recorded in June, 2012 at ARC Studios in Omaha with engineers Ben Brodin and J.J. Idt, then mastered in November, 2012 by Roger Seibel at SAE Mastering.
