Soulfly share details on new album Savages

Soulfly have announced Savages as the title to their upcoming ninth studio album. Ever since the band’s gold-certified debut in 1998, Soulfly have become deadlier and more dangerous with each critically acclaimed successive release and Savages is no exception. The record was produced by the world-renowned Terry Date (PANTERA, DEFTONES, SOUNDGARDEN), and will also be the first to feature Max Cavalera’s 21-year-old son Zyon on drums. Savages will be released as a limited edition digipak CD, 2LP vinyl and digital download on October 1 (North America) and October 4 (Europe) via Nuclear Blast.

Guest vocal appearances on Savages include bass player Tony Campos, Max Cavalera’s other son Igor Cavalera (LODY KONG), CLUTCH’s Neil Fallon, NAPALM DEATH’s Mitch Harris and Jamie Hanks of I DECLARE WAR fame.
