Mastodon playing shows with Judas Priest this fall
Mastodon are thrilled to announce they will hit the road in October and November for a fall North American tour with British metal icons Judas Priest, which kicks off on October 16th. In addition, THE MISSING LINK TOUR (a co-headline tour w/ Clutch plus support from Corrosion of Conformity) also continues its forward momentum with new dates. All confirmed tour dates are below. That’s a lot of “Mastodonian” live action for the masses!
Mastodon continues to ready new titles from their ongoing vinyl reissue series, which has already released stunning color vinyl pressings from their Reprise catalog to date: Crack the Skye (2009) on baby-blue vinyl and Blood Mountain (2006) on solid yellow and transparent green vinyl. The Hunter will be reborn in resplendent solid red vinyl. Their 2011 masterpiece drew critical accolades from the media:

At this point, Mastodon’s “Asleep In The Deep,” (track from their current album, ONCE MORE ‘ROUND THE SUN) video has garnered frenzied headlines and dazzled fans with its lysergically-laced, bizarre imagery as only one might expect from the twisted minds of Atlanta-based Special FX Guru, Shane Morton, and renowned American artist Skinner (cover artist for ONCE MORE ‘ROUND THE SUN) which recently debuted on Adult Swim.
