Suzi Moon’s Dumb & In Luv, Fall Tour with Dead Boys
Suzi Moon has already released three tracks from the album – “Dumb & In Luv,” “Family Memories,”and “California” – to huge support from fans, press, and industry alike. With the release of her new album and following a successful European tour with several festival slots including Rebellion Fest and Xtreme Fest, Moon will be embarking on a slew of US tour dates, supporting the Dead Boys on their Reanimated Tour 2022.

Dumb & In Luv pulls on several important themes in Moon’s life such as love, heartbreak, family, and more. For example, the title track is about how love can make us “stupid, irrational, crazy” while being the driving force behind everything we do, while a song like “Family Memories” is about Moon’s grandmother who passed away in 2019. Dumb & In Luv was written and mostly recorded before Moon’s EPs, but it is precisely what you’d expect from Suzi – 100% catchy rock n roll. Suzi enlisted the help of producer Davey Warsop and mixed/mastered by Mass Giorgini to help bring the songs to life and tweak the songs to perfection.
Moon says: “My first EP, Call The Shots, had a straightforward punk n’ roll sound, my second EP, Animal, was a bit more melodic, and Dumb & In Luv is really a mix of those two styles, seeped in the influence of all those great California bands that influenced me while I was growing up, like Social Distortion, Rancid, Green Day, and Sugarcult.”
It is not only Moon’s attention to detail in crafting her songs, but also in putting the album together as a complete package that has allowed this record to be the full vision Moon has for it. She has placed a heavy emphasis on not just the track selection but also its sequencing, as she intends for listeners to have a complete experience in which the songs sequentially complement each other. This album is meant to be played LOUD. So grab your favorite sunglasses, start the car, and prepare to blast this album with the windows down and the sun shining while enjoying a long drive down the highway.
