Moody, silly, hopeful, and violent as all fucking get out, Ley Lines is the best of Takeshi Miike’s Black Society Trilogy films, but I wouldn’t watch it first.
Japan’s I Spit On Your Grave. Kichiku is worse in that it creates it’s own sick, sick world. In some circles, this might be one of the greatest films ever made.
A.Li.Ce is, in the simplest terms, a bad movie. The script is one hoary cliché after another, the dialogue is pedestrian, and the performances are hamfisted.
