Japanese rock’n’roll that’ll set your tail feathers on fire as you run for cover. Wild and chaotic, and “sloppy” in a rampaging way, not like they can’t play.
Alcohol-soaked garage rock, sloppy, loose, trebly, and wild. Opened for NoMeansNo, and you can reference MC5 and Guitar Wolf and people’ll get what yer saying.
I’m no expert on thrashy post-punk noise, but there’s lots of (tinny) percussion, horns blatting, and vocal warble/howl on this Austin band’s third outing.
I was expecting chaos rock, but this is clean-sung, layered harmonied pop, perhaps the Japanese version of over-caffeinated New Found Glory or something.
