Glad to see someone still kickin’ out swagger rock instead of PC neo-punk or alternative-to-what pop. These bad boys from Baltimore got the mini-skirts a-twirling when I was a DC gutter rockboy. This is a little more mid-tempo then I remember, but nostalgia and six years of shots could have affected that. Live versions of their Elmer Fuddian “Oh Ruby” (Wuby weawy wocks, Wuby weawy wolls…) and “Cool From the Wire” bring back fond memories of near-death intoxication, barroom brawls, one night stands, and STD clinics. Long live rock and roll!
