The Maggies have compiled a 10 song monophonic cassette entitled Experimental Cinema. In fact, as the band explains, the tape was “recorded at Michael’s house in the room by the kitchen, on four tracks.” The most promising tune is “Solid Yellow Zero.” Other songs that are poppy with potential are “Star On Wheels” and “Wrong.” It is creative of the Maggies to try this innovative production technique. If they ever get signed to a major label and polish this recording style, they will most likely have a hit on their hands.
