If you’ve said you’ve had enough with alternarock, think again. Kid With Man Head is coming. From the inside art (a man naked, upside down with his head in a toilet), to the music itself, The Mr. Potatoe Head Chainsaw Massacre is solid and dependable. It’s loud, and it’s got a groove in a heavy way. When you first put it on, you may think it’s forgettable. But they get to you, snaring your attention repeatedly. If all the bands in this genre played as well as New Jersey’s Kid With Man Head, I just might respect it as a valid musical form.

Too bad they learned how to spell from Dan Quayle.
