Divine Sin – Winterland – Review

Divine Sin

Winterland (Black Mark)
by Chaz Thorndike

The depths of the Swedish woods produce a thrashy powermetal band with both Nordic tribal influences and deathy growls. Steering more toward crunching guitars and chaotic solos, Divine Sin races through powerchord paces as long-haired, black leather-wearing scowlers from the sticks are wont to do. Not especially mind-blowing, but it sounds good when you play it really fuckin’ loud.
