An interesting album, in that it’s high on original ideas, and low on sustained interest. Entirely groove-oriented, lots of eclectic and campy samples (hence the name), and an extensively happy, bouncy feel. With its burbling rhythms and lack of depth… Aw, hell, I should just lighten up; it’s fun! This is a great album for your convertible and a beach.
