Remember how Drown was a third-rate NIN rip-off, but actually wasn’t bad? That’s about what Headcrash is to Rage ATM, Beasties, or KMFDM. They sound pretty good if ya play ’em way loud while driving very fast with the rushing sound of the wind masking the tell-tale sounds of mediocre songwriting and juvenile production techniques. Their main claim to fame is that they supposedly got sued by the Catholic Church for manipulating a photo of the Pope with his robe adjusted. Yawn. Hire their graphic designer and try to remember the name of this band in a couple of years when they’ve learned to use the equipment Warner Bros bought for them.
