Shiva Speedway / Enduro split “Moonshine” / “Sister” (Uprising)

This one’s a vast improvement over Shiva Speedway‘s last 7″. The guitar sound is crustier than week-old cum stains. The vocalist’s tortured screams complement the music without saying, “look at me, I’m a drunk and disgruntled starving musician!” The chug-chug ’70s punk riffage is offset by tightly executed one-string guitar wails. I can do without Enduro‘s schmaltzy indie ballad on side b.
