There once was a band. The boys in the band were terrifically fond of the bass drum. They put out an album showcasing this perverse penchant for one simple thumping beat. Said recording made listeners feel as if they were caught in a dark tunnel with no light shining as a beacon of, really anything, and was so redundant and annoying that the melodies, some of which seemed clever and enchanting, and the vocals, often pleading and radiant, were lost in the caverns of the tunnel. Abort, abort! Disband before there is violence.
