Anti-Nowhere League – Scum – Review

Anti-Nowhere League

Scum (Pavement)
by Martin Popoff

Quietly but at full volume, Pavement have acquired a couple of the biggest, best Anglo hooligan rockers, both hailing from the early ’80s. Anti-Nowhere League are stil totally old school, like the UK Subs smeared with the Misfits, production booted to boot. Like I say, frighteningly authentic. English Dogs, conversely, record real good now, and musically, blur it up closer to technically adept hardcore. More punk than anything American, new or old.
