Maybe I’ve been left out of the party, but I seem to be the only one who doesn’t like this band. Yes, they’re fast, they’re “fun” (another word for fast), and they’re straight-edge, but so is Ten Yard Fight. And you know what? There’s not much “difference between” them. Scream, scream, pick slide, power chord, polka beat… yawn. All these new “old school” bands just don’t grab me. This style has been done so many times before, and by so many better acts, that I just don’t have the stomach for it anymore. In fact, I’m gonna take this record off right now and listen to Blood, Sweat, and No Tears…
