As much as I think a lot of death metal and grindcore is pointless (not to mention over), I kinda like Hellchild. Sure, they have muddy production which limits appreciation of some pretty damn fine guitarwork, and the vocalist likes that “I am a ravenous monster in a horror movie. I gargle and babble incomprehensibly, and might as well go ‘blorubbbbuh, hurrhgh, grooouwwwll, yuggh, yugggh'” style of vocals, but they’re from Japan, and seeing as glam rock still has an audience there, it’s not surprising these guys are a little behind the times.
