It’s the Cramps’ “I Was A Teenage Werewolf” grappling at least thematically with the New York Dolls in the big scream drive-in theatre of Roky Erickson’s mind. Onea this reporter’s all-time fave live acts then blindsides the Ray Charles-penned B, setting it off into a tinny, yet creepy rockibilly sheet-wetter. Ain’t it sad that ya gotta listen to the oldies station to hear this kinda stuff on the radio?
