Buried Alive – The Death of your Perfect World – Review

Buried Alive

The Death of your Perfect World (Victory)
by Tim Den

I think this whole record was written with one riff. A heavy riff, yes, but too much like Despair, Union, and all the other bands that members of Buried Alive used to be in. This thing’s so full of mundane chug-chugs, you could take any given part of one song and place it in another without noticing. In short, a metalcore album that depends on weight rather than songwriting to distinguish itself.
