Cigarette scratchy vocals, guitars that grind out the power chords like an electric meat mauler and the occasional, heavy-thumbed ballad all seem driven by the frustrated pull of sheer brute strength against leather pants, short on crotch (“aarrrrrr-ugh!”). For the kids who need the angsty sound and would rather their own problems blot out distracting emotions in the lyrics, Chlorine might be just the thing to bleach out those deep word stains.
