It’s all about the snare drum sound. Without it, Allister is a just another really peppy pop punk band that writes about girls and sounds really sensitive and cute. Nice melodies, layered harmonies, fast riffing, rampaging drums – all the elements that make fun pop punk what it is. These guys could be huge, they could disappear, flip a coin. They have all the right pieces, now it’s just a matter of being in the right place at the right time.
