Colored silences ride blue and silver celestial strings under Sri‘s Australian lilt, lending an unexpected sparkle on the skewed angles, like sterling wire that’s bent. These are Sri’s introspective, Smiths-like odes that open broad and harmonic, starry chords. Sri also plays simple guitar rock. Lie out under the crescent moon of her visionary tracks and absorb the glow that floods between the simple pop tracks. Sri should follow her experience studying in an ashram at the foot of the Himalayas, and become the mystic seer who strives to escape her vocal chords.
