Six Feet Under – Bonus Disc – Review

Six Feet Under

Bonus Disc (Metal Blade)
by Tim Den

I’m not sure if this is supposed to be an extra installment to their last full-length, but I am sure that Six Feet Under is still as boring as ever. Take Obituary b-sides (power chords played at slow intervals), add early (gurgle gurgle) Cannibal Corpse vocals (not difficult, since original CC frontman Chris Barnes is the singer) and cheesy lyrics, and you’ve got the C-grade death metal act that is Six Feet Under. The sound quality is great for a live EP (pounding drums and chainsaw guitars all recorded crystal clear), but it’s wasted on horrible songs. Boo. What does this make, five strikes in a row now? Way to quit while you’re ahead, guys.
