Kinda cool… Mostly obvious picks to cover all depressed and dark, though Rush’s “Spirit of the Radio” and Talking Head’s “Road to Nowhere” are unexpected and pretty swell, through I woulda liked a far better job done on Fun Boy Three’s “The Lunatics Have Taken Over the Asylum.” (For those unfamiliar, FB3 has members of The Specials, like Terry, who co-wrote “Our Lips are Sealed” with The Go-Go’s’ Jane Weidlin). Also covered here are Gary Numan, OMD, Frankie Goes to Hollywood (they had two songs?), Tears for Fears, Heaven 17, Bronski Beat, The Police, Eurythmics, Yazoo, and Teardrop Explodes.
