Embodyment continue to grow into a quivering, earth-shaking successor to Far. Imagine A Perfect Circle writing songs for Texas Is The Reason and Quicksand and you’ve got Hold Your Breath. Slithering crooning draped over smooth D-tuned riffs and weighty drumming. It’d be unfair to try and label these guys, so I’m just gonna say that this is soul-searching stuff that can also give a crowd whiplash.
