Like urban campfire music with Polly Jean Harvey waxing about gonads (in a friendly way – no vagina dentata this time, fellah!) with a low-key male back-up smoothing the terrain for the a-penised ones. Four songs, real no-bullshit actual songs with simple drums, harmonica and guitar. A Beefheart cover for all you old school indie hipsters or anyone hoping to get the boogie blood bump going in their Ani DiFranco veins. Will have a track on a Kill Rock Stars compilation soon.
