Ramallah – But a Whimper – Review

Ramallah

But a Whimper (Bridge Nine)
by Adrian Bromley

First of all, I can’t believe I am digging something that features a member of Blood For Blood (singer Rob Lind). How times have changed… Anyway, this is good shit from Ramallah, a decent slab of apocalyptic hardcore brutality unleashed like a pack of wild dogs on villagers. Truthful flights of aggression and power spurned by the violent world we live in. There are moments of sheer brilliance on this release, most notably the title track, “Al-Shifa,” and “Beauty.” In a day and age where we all have fears and hide our emotions, Ramallah takes a stance and voices an opinion on the world’s problems.
