Angular post-hardcore circa ’94… hey, there are worse time warps to be trapped in. Drawing from Camden, the last Jawbox album, and (especially in terms of recording) Joshua’s four-song EP on Doghouse, Delaware’s The Same Page are wrangling up some pretty/abrasive bursts of dissonance vs. yelping (sorry) here. There’s definitely potential (the players are all more than efficient at their tools): Hopefully the next release will sound better.
