This was supposed to be For Stars‘ major label debut. Good thing it isn’t, cuz I couldn’t imagine something as exquisite and rapturous coming out on, let’s say, Jive or MCA. For those of us who followed the band’s earlier works, …It Falls Apart is well worth the wait. Imagine the darkest corners of a closed jazz club, where an elfin spirit laments the ghosts of his past with fragile beauty… ah, For Stars have always been great at conjuring up such strange yet compelling visuals and feelings. You cannot afford to miss out on a band this moving.
