NIL – A Land Beyond Belief – Review

The art is fucking amazing! It’s perfect, simple, black and white, blocky, boxy and art deco, with all the factories, wheels, and cogs for a backdrop. The tale follows underdogs Mr. Ooze and Mr. Nil in a nihilism state, everyone in an equal state of shittiness. The story is slow at first, but well worth your time if you stick it out. The boys battle love, The Man, and whether to torch the last coffee shop in the area. The wit is extra dry and best when served on ice. It’s damn fine, and I want more.
