Impressionistic portraits of dark passion abound on the full-length by this Denver band. Each work is comprised of multiple dimensions of sonic treachery: Haunting falsettos, decrepit accordions, and smoky guitars. In addition to landing some “brooding rock dude” cred points, Orbit Service is to be patted on the back for playing their shit on their terms. No compromises here. They’re moody, tired, and probably indifferent as to what you think of them. And what’s more rock ‘n’ roll than that?
